Reviews and Ratings
The hotel room was clean and modern but fell short of expectations with noise from the nearby lifts, a smoke smell, and a shower that flooded after extended use. The room did not justify its cost.
The hotel is conveniently near the center and the Gas Basin district, just a short walk away, which is great. The rooms were ample, but they weren't up to scratch with some in poor condition due to loose fittings and exposed wiring. The service was fantastic, creating a lovely and very friendly atmosphere, although there were some rude interactions at check-in. The location was great, providing easy access to the city center and allowing us to store our bags while we went shopping. The dining experience was okay, but the slow refilling of food made the wait for croissants quite long.
The hotel has its ups and downs. While the rooms are nice and compact with everything you might need, they seem a bit run down with cracks and damp on the walls and lack proper storage for clothes, making them a little drab compared to the rest of the hotel. The service, although supportive and friendly overall, showed signs of being under pressure in the absence of additional assistants. The location, while having its drawbacks like bins and broken glass at the back, shines when it's not too crowded and offers an excellent spot for those attending events at the nearby O2 Academy. The dining experience, despite being a tad expensive and with a small restaurant area, impresses with a wide array of English and continental choices. The facilities are decent, providing the basics for a comfortable stay.
The hotel had beautiful rooms that stood out from other places I've stayed before. Clean, central location, had everything I needed. Service was lacking, with unhelpful staff and an unpleasant check-in experience. Location was great but had some safety concerns and uphill access. Dining was somewhat disappointing and overpriced for the quality. Overall, a mixed experience.
My stay at the hotel was truly relaxing and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and well-equipped, providing a great environment for a pleasant getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience feel even more special. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful vibe while still being close to the city center. However, the dining experience was a bit overpriced, and some improvements could be made in terms of breakfast options.
